Bloomsbury has published dyslexia-friendly editions of three books from the Hogwarts Library range, including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages and The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
The initiative forms part of a wider push by the publisher to improve accessibility in reading by adapting popular titles into formats better suited to readers with dyslexia. The editions use design features such as clearer sans-serif fonts, increased spacing, tinted paper to reduce visual stress, and enhanced layout structures to make the text easier to follow. According to Bloomsbury, the aim is to reduce barriers to reading while preserving the original content and appeal of the Wizarding World. The project has been developed with input from accessibility organisations, reflecting a broader industry movement towards more inclusive publishing practices.
