DSA (Disabled Student Allowance)

(Adult) Face to Face or Remote/Online

A Full Diagnostic Assessment/formal diagnosis is required to access support through the DSA (Disabled Student Allowance) for degree study/Higher Education. A diagnosis and written report would conform to the SpLD Working Group 2005/DfES “Guidelines for Assessment of SpLDS in Higher Education” hence meeting the university and SFE (Student Finance England) requirements.

Following this a range of support can be accessed through DSA. See https://www.gov.uk/disabled-students-allowance-dsa for further information and the useful publications Bridging the Gap; Disabled Students’ Allowances and Disabled Students Allowances (DSAs) What, When and How to apply.
