Dyslexia Student Assessments

Student Assessment
A range of student assessments can be carried out. In conjunction with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Access Arrangements, Reasonable Adjustments and Special Consideration, General& Vocational Qualifications we can determine as to whether you meet the criteria for access arrangements for GCSE and GCE examinations. This may include extra time, use of Reader/readback software, laptop/word processor/Scribe, Rest breaks, ear pods/smaller room and use of a fidget item etc.
NB: School/College must be aware of, and in agreement with, the assessment taking place as a subsequent formal JCQ application for Access Arrangements would be completed in conjunction with them and Canterbury Dyslexia Centre.
For full details see www.jcq.org.uk for the current JCQ Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments document.
